Frontiers in Physics 2009

The Teachers of Physics Annual Conference will be held at The Department of Computing, Mathematics and Physics Waterford Institute of Technology. See the Ireland Calendar for details of dates and times.

The day will consist of demonstrations and workshops for post-primary teachers of physics, organised with the objectives:

• To inform teachers of the exciting and innovative work at the frontiers of physics that is being carried out in Ireland
• To provide teachers with examples of simple and inexpensive physics demonstrations
• To inform teachers of the latest developments and resources available in physics teaching.

The conference is sponsored by the Institute of Physics in Ireland Education Group and The Department of Computing, Mathematics and Physics. The assistance of the Second Level Support Service (SLSS) is greatly appreciated.
