UCC students hold title as the smartest once again winning the IOP Intervarsity Physics Quiz

A dramatic finish to the 2010 IOP Intervarsity Physics Quiz when the cup was won, for the second year running, by UCC who knocked out UCD in a 'sudden-death' question after a tie in the head-to-head round. 

The Quiz was hosted this year by UCC in the Tyndall Institute on 26 February and the students had an opportunity to both compete intensively yet socialise - as only students can -with the best of physics students from around the country. 

The other teams that competed this year included TCD, NUIGalway and Cork IT.
